SVSC is a very small, very friendly club based at Swan Pool in the lovely surroundings of Sandwell Valley Country Park. We offer a regular sailing program for all ages and abilities, including friendly club racing, training and general sailing with safety boat support.

There is an RYA recognised Training Centre here, competent to provide a full range of Dinghy, Windsurf and Powerboat courses and qualifications, with tuition and guidance from their qualified RYA Instructors. Click here for more details.

We meet on Thursday afternoons (& evenings in summer) and Saturday afternoons, but sometimes sail at other times if people are interested.
If you are in the area and fancy dropping by, we would be more than happy to show you around or discuss ways in which we may be able to get you afloat.
Richard is again offering to run coaching sessions. The same format as last year - early start Saturday, with instruction, then practice out on the water.
What he needs to know is, what topics people would like covered. Please let him/ me/ someone know what you'd like.
Suggestions so far:
- basic racing skills (please say what topics are of particular interest)
- OD duties & managing races
- Laser sailing & racing
We hope to restart our youngsters' sessions again in May.

There may be a L3 Seamanship course taking place today, but racing will take place at the usual times.
General sailing will be possible from about 10am to 5pm.
Weather looks to be a little cooler with a pleasant low force 3 NNW.
