SVSC is a very small, friendly and family orientated club based at Swan Pool in the lovely surroundings of Sandwell Valley Country Park. We offer an active sailing program for all ages and abilities, including friendly club racing, training and general sailing with safety boat support.

Having a recognised RYA Training Centre here, we are able to provide a full range of Dinghy, Windsurf and Powerboat courses and qualifications, with expert tuition and guidance from our qualified RYA Instructors. Click here for more details.

We meet on Thursday afternoons (& evenings in summer) and Saturday afternoons.
If you are in the area and fancy dropping by, we would be more than happy to show you around or discuss ways in which we may be able to get you afloat.

Warming up a bit and wind moderating , so we can hope for a good sailing day.
Richard is again offering to run coaching sessions. The same format as last year - early start Saturday, with instruction, then practice out on the water.
What he needs to know is, what topics people would like covered. Please let him/ me/ someone know what you'd like.
Suggestions so far:
- basic racing skills (please say what topics are of particular interest)
- OD duties & managing races
- Laser sailing & racing
Push The Boat Out
Saturday 12th May
We'll be welcoming visitors to try sailing at SVSC again this year.
There will be a work party to tidy the place up for the new season and do some welcome improvments to the quay.
We hope to restart our youngsters' sessions again in May.
